Our family moved from the piney woods of Texas to the Upper Penninsula in 2020. We love the great outdoors and enjoy all the seasonal activities that the UP provides! Hiking, camping, and exploring the Great Lakes with my family are some of my favorite activities. Additionally, I love to teach and am honored to serve here at Sault Area Schools as the ELL teacher and a 1st grade reading interventionist. Throughout my teaching career I have taught kindergarten and 2nd grade and have worked as a reading interventionist for K-6th grade. I am currently in training to be a lisensed dyslexia therapist. I am looking forward to another great year teaching students in all 4 language domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
