Dr. Sheri McFarlane - Principal

Welcome to Washington Elementary School and home of the Washington Wildcats! We are a kindergarten and 1st grade school made up of about 220 bright students, active volunteers, and dedicated staff.

 

Educating the whole child is our philosophy.  Our students are challenged, engaged, and inspired daily in the classroom and throughout the school. In addition to our emphasis of ongoing academic and emotional growth, we actively teach and practice being good citizens through a positive behavior intervention program.  

 

We believe all students need technological literacy to be successful, connected, and safe. Our teachers are integrating technology with classroom instruction by using interactive-projectors, document cameras, digital voice-capture and projection systems. Each student is provided with our elementary technology framework that will enable our students to become responsible digital citizens and spark their interest in learning well beyond their years spent with us.
